Do you set limits beforehand, or do you just rely on self-control?

I’ve been playing in crypto casinos on and off for a couple of years, mostly dice games, and lately I’ve been thinking more about responsible gambling. With crypto it feels different somehow — deposits are instant, there’s no bank “friction”, and it’s way too easy to chase losses without even noticing how much time you’ve spent. I’m curious how others handle this. Do you set limits beforehand, or do you just rely on self-control? I’d really like to hear real experiences, not theory.

Good topic, honestly. I had to learn this the hard way. When I started using crypto casinos, the speed was what got me — you lose track of money because it doesn’t feel like money. What helped me was setting very clear rules before I even log in: fixed session time, fixed amount I’m willing to lose, and once it’s gone, I log out, no exceptions. Some platforms make this easier than others. For example, on sites like dogecoin gambling

you can clearly see your bets and balance history, which helps with awareness, but you still need discipline. I also avoid playing when I’m tired or annoyed — that’s when bad decisions happen. Crypto casinos aren’t evil, but they definitely reward impulsive behavior if you’re not careful.
